The outgoing Defence Advisor (DA) of the British High Commission, Colombo, Sri Lanka Colonel Paul Clayton MBE along with the newly appointed Defence Advisor Colonel Darren Woods called on the Commandant, DSCSC Major General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP psc IG on 01st June 2023 at the Commandant’s Office.
The Commandant warmly welcomed both delegates and a cordial discussion ensued on possible avenues of developing military relationships between two nations through military education in future.

Further, the Commandant appreciated the commendable service rendered by the outgoing Defence Advisor to strengthen the military corporation between the two friendly armed forces. The commandant also extended his regards to the newly appointed Defence Advisor on his appointment as the Defence Advisor in Sri Lanka and Maldives in future.

The outgoing and newly appointed Defence Advisors received mementoes to mark the long-standing military relationship between two nations as a token of goodwill and appreciation.
