DEFENCE SERVICES COMMAND AND STAFF COURSE NO 14 GRADUATION CEREMONY 11th DECEMBER 2020 AT NELUM POKUNA MAHINDA RAJAPAKSA THEATRE

The Graduation Ceremony of the Defence Services Command and Staff College Course No 14 was held at Nelum Pokuna Mahinda Rajapaksa Theatre on 11th December 2020. Maj Gen (Retd) GDHK Gunnaratne WWV RWP RSP USP ndu psc MPhill Secretary to the MOD graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Secretary to the MOD was welcomed by the Commandant DSCSC Maj Gen DAPN Dematanpitiya ndu psc and members of the Board of Management.

The Course No 14 was commenced on 06th January 2020 and concluded on 11th December 2020. A total of 149 Officers comprising of 81 Officers from the SL Army, 23 Officers from the SL Navy, 27 Officers from the SL Air Force, and 18 Foreign Student Officers representing Bangladesh, China, India, Indonesia, Maldives, Nepal, Oman, Pakistan, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, and Sudan were graduated on this occasion.

End of the address, exchange of mementos was taken place to mark the event.

Members of the Board of Management of the DSCSC along with their respective ladies and former Commandants of the Army Command and Staff Collage (ACSC) and DSCSC Members of the Academia, Senior Officers of the Tri Services, spouses and parents of the graduates.

The special awards were awarded to graduates who have excelled in academic achievements during the ceremony and under mentioned officers were conferred with the special awards by the Chief Guest.

Commandant’s Honours Award.

Following student officers who obtained an overall aggregate of 70% (B+) or above were awarded with the Certificate of Commandant’s Honours.
