In the ever-evolving landscape of professional development, DSCSC is constantly seeking innovative ways to nurture the skills and capabilities of its faculty. One such program that has gained recognition for its impact is the “Directing Staff Enrichment Programme.” This program is designed to empower faculty members and elevate organizational performance, by fostering knowledge, skills, and competencies. The DSCSC conducted a DS Enrichment Programme unfolded over a span of two days, 06 and 07 Aug 23. The programme commenced with an engaging introduction, by the Commandant, DSCSC, Maj Gen BKGML Rodrigo RSP psc IG, outlining the objectives and expectations.

The Directing Staff Enrichment Programme’s lecture series proved to be a captivating journey through diverse realms of knowledge. From the art of training to the intricacies of geopolitics, emotional intelligence, and digital transformation in an academic environment, participants were exposed to a rich tapestry of ideas and strategies.

An integral part of this transformative initiative is the contribution of esteemed lecturers from renowned universities, including the University of Colombo, the University of Kelaniya, and General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University. Further, this programme takes on a distinctive dimension as it welcomes retired senior military officers who have seamlessly transitioned into high-ranking positions in their respective domains. Their profound insights and leadership acumen infused the programme with a unique blend of military discipline.
