A delegation consisting of Directing Staffs and Student Officers of Defence Service Command and Staff College (DSCSC) Mirpur, Bangladesh paid an official visit to the DSCSC Sri Lanka during their overseas study tour. On arrival, the delegation was cordially welcomed by all Wing Heads of the faculty at the main entrance.
The Head of the Delegation and Directing Staff called on the Commandant Major General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP psc IG at his office for a brief interaction followed by sharing of mementos to mark the long standing friendly relationship between two colleges and nations. Afterwards, the delegation received a briefing of the DSCSC including training curriculum, modules and exercises.
The student officers of the delegation got an opportunity to have a friendly interaction with the Directing Staff of the DSCSC Sri Lanka while enjoying refreshments at the Officers’ Mess.
The cultural show performed by the dancing troupe of Sri Lanka Army left a footprint on the true identity of Sri Lanka in visiting military delegation. The guests were hosted with a dinner at the Officers’ Mess, before setting off for their next destination.
