Historical Case Study Presentations on Global Counterinsurgency (COIN) campaigns hold a central focus in the curriculum of the Third Term. This course component gives Student Officers a unique opportunity to engage in and analyse various COIN campaigns, extracting valuable lessons for future applications. Student Officers of 14 joint syndicates conducted a comprehensive research, delivering into specific COIN campaigns to uncover strategic insights and key takeaways. The presentations were conducted at the Maroon hall of the DSCSC on 17 and 18 October 2023. Each presentation was assessed by a panel of Directing Staff, ensuring that the insights and lessons of these historical case studies are thoroughly evaluated and integrated into the broader curriculum.
