As per the initiative and visionary guidance of Mrs. Swendrini Rodrigo, the President of the Ladies’ Club, a workshop on personal grooming was held on 18 May 2024 in the Green Hall, DSCSC. Mrs. Waruni Udeshika Perera, a remarkable individual who embodies the dedication to holistic beauty and wellness, conducted the workshop which was specially focused on absence of body odour and dressing well, body hygiene, personal cleanliness, grooming nails and hair, hair style and settings, self-makeup (day and evening) and saree draping. The insights and techniques that shared were not only enhanced the beautification skills of the attendees but also provided an enjoyable and enriching experience for all the members of the Ladies’ Club. The President of the Ladies’ Club, spouses of the faculty members and Course Participants of the Course No. 18 partook in the event.

During the refreshment session, Major General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP psc IG, the Commandant and President of the Ladies Club extended their gratefulness for her generous gesture of accepting the invitation amidst her busy commitments.

In ending, President of the Ladies’ Club presented a gift voucher to Mrs. Waruni Udeshika Perera as a token of appreciation for her mutual assistance.
