Major General IHMNN Herath RSP USP psc received a grand farewell at the DSCSC subsequent to the relinquishing formalities from the office as the Commandant of the Defence Service Command and Staff College on June 19, 2022. The outgoing commandant was presented with a memento in recognition of his invaluable service, and Mrs. Mihiri Herath was praised for her outstanding role as the President of the DSCSC Ladies’ Club.

Major General Nishantha Herath was the eighth Commandant of the DSCSC, and during his tenure, he reviewed the academic course curriculum and improved the College’s image by upgrading infrastructure facilities.
