Brigadier GDJC Prematilake USP ndc psc assumed office as the 12th Chief Instructor of the Army Wing – DSCSC on 18 December 2024, amidst religious rites and rituals. Brigadier Janak Prematilake placed his signature for an official document, signifying the acceptance of his office.

He served as the Commander 553 Infantry Brigade, Commander 571 Infantry Brigade and followed the NDC course – Sri Lanka prior to being appointed as the Chief Instructor of the Army Wing – DSCSC.

Setting out his scope of work and duties, Brigadier GDJC Prematilake made a brief discussion with Faculty Members of the Army Wing and outlined the importance of working collectively as a team, whilst enhancing the professionalism.
