Christmas Carols is a significant event in the annual calendar of the Defence Services Command and Staff College, promoting fellowship and togetherness within the College community. Accordingly, the Christmas Carols evening for 2025 was successfully conducted on 13 December 2025 at the Maroon Hall with the participation of the Course Participants of Course No 19, along with their spouses and children.
The Commandant, Defence Services Command and Staff College, Major General H H K S S Hewage RWP RSP USP rcds psc, graced the occasion as the chief guest. The Deputy Commandant, faculty members, permanent staff, Course Participants, and their families were also in attendance.
The programme comprised Sinhala and English carols performed by Course Participants, their spouses and children, together with a nativity play that reflected the true spirit of Christmas. The arrival of Santa Claus, distributing gifts and sweets to the children, added a joyful highlight to the evening.
The event concluded successfully, reinforcing the strong sense of unity and camaraderie within DSCSC and serving as a fitting festive gathering for the College community.
