The College Run, one of the important events in the annual calendar of the college, was held on 21 September 2022. The event aimed to build team spirit among the officers within the college and highlight the importance of being physically fit. The entire college, including the Faculty Members, Permanent Staff and Student Officers, took great enthusiasm in the event.

The winners received prizes from Major General BKGML Rodrigo RSP psc IG, the Commandant of DSCSC. The Award for first place among Directing and Permanent Staff was secured by Maj Pradeep Kumara (SLA), while the first place among Foreign Student Officers was awarded to Maj Steven Semwaga from Rwanda. LCdr Manjula Kumara (SLN) won first place among Student Officers while Maj Anjula Warnakulasuriya (SLE) secured second place respectively.
