Command Studies Research is a major exercise of the First Term of the DSCSC course curriculum. Student officers are required to carry out a comprehensive research on a chosen military leader, his command and leadership qualities and then conduct a presentation. The aim of this exercise is to identify facets of command and leadership demonstrated by the chosen military leader that could provide useful lessons for our own military thinking. The research followed by the presentation required painstaking effort by the student officers to make it truly useful, interesting and professional. Tri – Services Student Officers (16 Army, 6 Navy & 6 Air force) of sub syndicates of Course No 17 carried out comprehensive researches on selected military leaders and presentations of the same were conducted on 4 and 6 April 2023. Further, the research works and presentations were assessed by a panel of Directing Staff.
