Major General H H K S S Hewage RWP RSP USP rcds psc, the Commandant of the Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC), paid a courtesy visit to Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuyacontha (Retd) WWV, RWP and two Bars, RSP and Bar, USP, MMSc (Strat Stu-China), MSc (Def Stu) in Mgt, MSc (Def & Strat Stu), fndu (China), psc, the Secretary to the Ministry of Defence on 22 January, 2025.
The Secretary Defence welcomed the Commandant and engaged in a cordial discussion regarding potential future developments in upgrading of training facilities and concepts of the DSCSC. During the discussion, they discussed the need for maintaining international level standards in its training in order to mould outstanding future military leaders for the Tri Forces. The Secretary Defence assured his support in propelling his alma mater to greater heights.
The official interaction drew to a close with the exchange of mementos.
