In Keeping with long rooted military traditions, the Commandant of the Defence Services Command and Staff College Major General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP psc IG paid a courtesy call on the newly appointed Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera RSP**, USP, ndu, psc on 8^th February 2023 at Navy Headquarters.

The Commander of the Navy warmly welcomed the Commandant and Major General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP psc IG extended his best compliments to the newly appointed Commander of the Navy. Further, during this first formal courtesy call on, the two senior officers mainly focused on extending the fullest support of Sri Lanka Navy for possible future development aspects of the College to achieve desired learning environment.

Signifying the importance of this brief interaction, the exchange of mementoes as a token of mutual relationship between the Commander of the Navy and the Commandant was taken place.
