As part of the annual training programme, the Navy Wing of the DSCSC successfully conducted Exercise ‘Marlinspike’ for Course No. 19 from 15 to 18 September 2025. This exercise mainly focused on formulating a plan for countering insurgency and asymmetric threats in maritime domain.
Commander Muhammad Aqeel, PN a visiting Directing Staff from the Navy War College (NWC) Pakistan, participated in the exercise as an observer under the DSCSC Sri Lanka and NWC Pakistan Directing Staff Exchange Programme. This collaborative initiative aims to foster the exchange of professional insights and expertise between the Directing Staff of both the institutions.
During the exercise, Commander Muhammad Aqeel, PN made valuable contributions by sharing his expertise during briefings conducted by Course Participants. He also shared his expertise with Directing Staff during the discussions.
On 15 September 2025, as part of the customary protocol, Commander Muhammad Aqeel, PN paid a courtesy call on to the Commandant of DSCSC, Sri Lanka, Major General HHKSS Hewage RWP RSP USP rcds psc.
