A grand welcome banquet, the ‘Icebreaker,’ was hosted by the Commandant, Major General HHKSS Hewage RWP RSP USP rcds psc, on 10 January 2025. This vibrant gathering provided an excellent platform for the Course Participants to mingle, fostering a sense of camaraderie and mutual support that will serve as a foundation throughout their stay at the College.
The Icebreaker event marked the official beginning of an enriching and transformative journey for Course No. 19, which officially commenced on 6 January 2025. The current student fraternity includes 152 officers—75 from the Sri Lanka Army, 25 from the Sri Lanka Navy, 25 from the Sri Lanka Air Force, and 27 Foreign Course Participants representing 11 countries: Bangladesh, China, India, Indonesia, Maldives, Nepal, Oman, Pakistan, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia and, Zambia.
The event witnessed the presence of Chief Instructors, the Brigadier Coordinating, Members of the Faculty, the Permanent Staff, and the Course Participants accompanied by their spouses.
