Colonel Muhammad Farooq, the Defence Advisor of the High Commission of Pakistan in Sri Lanka, was warmly received by Major General KW Jayaweera USP psc, Commandant of the Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC), on 7 April 2026. The Deputy Commandant and the Brigadier Coordinating were also present on the occasion.
During the interaction, the Commandant briefed the visiting Defence Advisor on the training framework, academic curriculum, and key activities of the College, highlighting its pivotal role in shaping professionally competent and strategically astute officers. The discussion also underscored the importance of continuous professional military education in addressing contemporary security challenges.
