The Defence Higher Education Trainer (DHET) Course was held at DSCSC under the supervision of the British Embassy in Sri Lanka. Two professional Instructors from the Defence Academy of United Kingdom conducted the course. The course commenced on 16 November 2022 with the participation of 18 Directing Staffs from Defence Services Command and Staff College, Army War College and Army School of Logistics.
The course content consisted with Concepts, Methods and Techniques to improve teaching methods of Directing Staff on facilitation of conducive learning environment including managing of syndicate room discussions, assessment of student performances, student coaching activities and designing learning activities. It immensely benefitted the Directing Staff to refresh and widen their knowledge with the latest techniques of teaching. The six day course successfully concluded on 23 November 2022.
