Resonating to a solemn and proud annal, the Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC) marked its 27th anniversary that aimed to seek blessings and prosperity for the institution and its members under the guidance of the Commandant of the college, Maj Gen Lasantha Rodrigo RSP psc IG on 21 January 2024. The Almsgiving ceremony encompassed offering lunch, Atapirikara and other offerings to 20 Buddhist monks that served as a poignant reminder of the rich traditions that form an integral part of the DSCSC’s identity.

As the DSCSC looks ahead to the future, this anniversary celebration stands as a symbol of continuity, resilience, and a shared commitment to excellence. The college remains dedicated to its mission of shaping the future leaders of the tri-services both local and international to the defence and security landscape world over.

The ceremony saw the presence of the Deputy Commandant, all Wing Heads, members of the faculty and the permanent staff that included all the civil servants.
