In support of the government’s “Clean Sri Lanka” initiative, the Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC) conducted a tree planting programme within its premises on 07 May 2025. The meaningful environmental effort, held under the shade of sustainable development and national responsibility, was graced by Major General H H K S S Hewage RWP RSP USP rcds psc, Commandant of DSCSC, as the Chief Guest.

Conceptualized and organized under the guidance of Brigadier A A D P Kulathilaka USP ndc psc, Deputy Commandant of DSCSC, the programme focused on enhancing greenery within the college premises while contributing to national reforestation goals.

The event brought together the Deputy Commandant, Brigadier Coordinating, and all Officers and Other Ranks of the permanent staff, showcasing a collective dedication to fostering a cleaner and greener environment for future generations.
