The DSCSC ‘Hash Run’ is one of a major outdoor activities undertaken by the college every year to afford Student Officers a well-earned entertaining time out from continuous college academics. In this year the ‘Hash Run’ was organized on 11 September 2022 with the participation of the Commandant, Faculty, Permanent Staff, Student Officers and their families with fun and laughter.

The ‘Hash Run’ has its origins to the year 1938 in Malaya and now it is a popular event all over the world participated by many. Keeping this tradition alive, the trail for the DSCSC ‘Hash Run’ was laid around the college with the collaboration of Colombo Hash House Harriers Club having included adventurous running, obstacles crossing to experience the fun all the way.

Upon termination of the run, the runners assembled at the Fountain Square of the college and continued with social and recreational activities. Everyone present especially the kids enjoyed the gala event thoroughly. The ‘Hash Run 2022’ was a memorable event for all the Student Officers, especially for Foreign Student Officers and their families.
