A delegation comprised of Student Officers and Directing Staff of Course No 34 of Junior Naval Staff Course, Naval & Maritime Academy (NMA), Trincomalee, visited the DSCSC on 02^nd May 2024 as a part of their Industrial Visit.

Junior Naval Staff Course (JNSC) is one of the highest academic and professional training programmes conducted at the NMA, that grooms professionally competent mid-career officers for Tri-Services. The DSCSC visit is an essential part of the JNSC academic curriculum, and it gives Student Officers a better understanding of the college and its practical perspectives.

The visit comprised a presentation covering functions at the DSCSC and a walkthrough of the college facilities, such as the library, exam hall, syndicate rooms, gymnasium, and accommodations. The visit concluded with an interactive session with the Deputy Commandant of the DSCSC and faculty members at the Officers’ Mess.
