The Model Discussion (MD) on Offensive Operations was conducted on 01 Mar 21 at DSCSC Eastern Model Room. This MD has been designed to enhance the students’ knowledge on fundamentals of Offensive Operations and develop planning skills focusing on a Brigade level Offensive Operation. The discussion commenced in the morning with the initial briefing of the Sponsor DS and continued till evening covering all salient aspects of planning of a deliberate attack. The discussion has generated healthy debates and constructive criticisms during the discussion of different syndicates. It was an ideal forum for most of the Student Officers for sharpening their planning and briefing skills. Active and fruitful contribution of the foreign Student Officers added glamor to the exercise. The discussion was terminated in the evening with the summing up of Chief Instructor of the Army Wing.
