NEPAL ARMY COMMAND AND STAFF COLLEGE DELEGATION VISITS DSCSC TO STRENGTHEN BILATERAL DEFENCE COOPERATION

The Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC) warmly welcomed a military delegation from the Nepal Army Command and Staff College on 19 January 2025. The visiting delegation was led by Brigadier General Purna Bahadur Khatri, and comprised fifteen (15) members, including ten (10) Course Participants, demonstrating the shared commitment to strengthening defence cooperation between the two nations.

The visit commenced with a courtesy call on the Commandant of the DSCSC, Major General
K W Jayaweera USP psc. During the meeting, both parties engaged in cordial and constructive discussions focused on strengthening the bond and mutual cooperation between the two institutions.

During the visit, the delegation was given a comprehensive briefing on the history of the DSCSC, its current progress as well as the future prospects. Subsequently, the faculty presented the methodology of conducting war games at the DSCSC to the delegation.

A tea reception was hosted by the Commandant, providing an opportunity for the faculty an informal interactions with the Nepal Army Command and Staff College delegation. The visit concluded with Brigadier General Purna Bahadur Khatri signing the visitors’ book, marking the end of a fruitful engagement between the two Command and Staff Colleges.
