Brigadier H M G E Herath RSP USP psc, the newly-appointed Brigadier Coordinating of the Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC) assumed office on 09 May 2023 during a brief ceremony, held at the Office premises, DSCSC.

He served as the Commander 622 Infantry Brigade prior to being appointed as the Brigadier Coordinating, DSCSC.
