The Defense Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC) witnessed a momentous occasion as the Commandant, Major General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP psc IG delivered the opening address for Course Number 18 on 05 January 2024. The address set the tone for the upcoming months of intensive training and collaboration, with a special focus on the foreign officers enrolled in the course.

The course No 18 is comprised with 154 officers including 81 officers from Sri Lanka Army, 22 officers from Sri Lanka Navy 26 officers from Sri Lanka Air Force, and 26 allied officers representing 12 nations.

In his opening remarks, the Commandant extended a warm welcome to the diverse group of officers, including esteemed foreign participants. This acknowledgement highlighted the global nature of the course, emphasizing the importance of international cooperation and shared learning experiences.
