Defence Services Command and Staff College celebrated the Liberation Day of Republic of Rwanda and Independence Day of United States of America on 05 July 21, with Major Ntawirema Alexis and Major Isabelle Joy Morse who are at present following Defence Services Command and Staff College Course Number 15.

Major Ntawirema Alexis delivered a speech on history of Republic of Rwanda and the present progress the country has achieved hitherto. Further, he appreciated the college authorities for arranging a wonderful event to celebrate the historical event.

Major Isabelle Joy Morse presented the brief history of the United States of America and their path to Independence. Moreover, she extended her gratitude to the staff and all members for organising the event.

The event was graced by the Deputy Commandant, Brigadier Coordinating, Members of the Faculty and a cross section of local and foreign Student Officers from Defence Services Command and Staff College Course Number 15. The event was held with strict adherence to COVID-19 prevention measures.
