Exercise ‘Concrete Jungle’; one of the major tactical exercises at DSCSC, terminated with a high note when Student Officers completely evicted the enemy and defended Kurunegala successfully on 24 May 2023. This year the exercise was conducted over a period of six days from 19 May 2023 to 24 May 2023.
A brigade level Army and Air Force Student Officers jointly planned an exercise to practice and execute offensive and defensive operations against the generic enemy in an urban environment. The exercise includes writing an estimate, syndicate room discussions, aerial reconnaissance, and Tactical Exercise Without Troops (TEWT) in Kurunegala area to support their planning process.
In view of upholding the realistic nature of exercise, the faculty reassured the clinical execution of courses of actions initiated by the Student Officers.
