SYNCHRONIZE STRENGTH THROUGH SYNERGY – EXERCISE PURPLE TURTLE SETS THE OPERATIONAL TEMPO

Course Participants of DSCSC Course No. 19 demonstrated exceptional military acumen by successfully executing the operational planning for a large-scale amphibious landing during Exercise Purple Turtle, conducted from 12 to 17 July 2025. This pivotal exercise was designed to bridge the gap between theory and practice, transforming conceptual understanding of amphibious and joint operations into applied operational planning.

The exercise comprehensively covered all phases of amphibious operation planning and demanded the effective application of mission command principles. Participants were challenged to employ operational art and design in response to dynamic scenarios, thereby cultivating adaptability and resilience across multi-domain operations.

Exercise Purple Turtle also served as a platform to deepen the appreciation of each service’s unique capabilities and constraints, fostering inter-service collaboration. Course participants sharpened their skills in operational-level briefings and planning processes, while the active engagement of both local and foreign course participants in key exercise appointments added significant value to the overall training outcome.

The exercise vividly illustrated the strength of jointness in marching on land, sailing at sea, and flying in the air where true operational tempo is achieved through precise synchronization and synergy.
