General Shavendra Silva WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc MPhil Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army addressed the Student Officers of the Course No 15 on 8 December 2021. Major General IHMNN Herath RSP USP psc – Commandant, Defence Services Command and Staff College welcomed the Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army at his Office. He enlightened the august gathering comprised with the Commandant, Deputy Commandant, Wing Heads, Members of the Faculty and the Student Officers on “Role of Armed Forces in the Contemporary Security Landscape” and his thoughts were immensely benefited for the Student Officers who are at the verge of joining back to the Tri-services after successful completion of the course. Visit of the Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army to DSCSC is a significant and memorable event in academic calendar of the college. End of the address, exchange of mementos was taken place to mark the event.
