The Defence Services Command & Staff College organized a simple and charming programme that followed the formalities of assuming work for the New Year on the first working day on 01 January 2024.

The Commandant, Major General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP psc IG and the Deputy Commandant, Brigadier Ajith Wickramasekara USP Psc, hoisted the national flag and the College flag respectively. The permanent staff including all officers, other ranks of the tri-services and civil staff took the oath and pledged to abide by the State Oath of Allegiance.

Afterwards, wishing best of luck and prosperity to all, the Commandant and the entire staff attended the tea party.
