Brigadier W A S R Wijedasa WWV RSP USP ndc psc assumed office as the 20^th Deputy Commandant of the DSCSC on 15.02.2024, amidst religious rites and rituals. Brigadier Wijedasa placed his signature for an official document, signifying the acceptance of his office.

He served as the Senior Directing Staff at Director, National Defence College prior to being appointed as the Deputy Commandant of DSCSC.

Setting out his scope of work and duties, Brigadier W A S R Wijedasa made a brief discussion with officers in the college and outlined the importance of working collectively as a team, whilst enhancing the professionalism of All Ranks in the college.
