As an annual event of the Defence Services Command and Staff College, Ex ‘Shadow Dance’ of Course No 19 was conducted from 13 to 20 June 2025. Cdr Md. Farid Uz Zaman (TAS) NPP psc BN, a visiting Directing Staff from Bangladesh Defence Services Command and Staff College participated as an Observer to the exercise under DSCSC Sri Lanka and Bangladesh Directing Staff Exchange Programe. The purpose of such visit is to share the insights of Directing Staffs of friendly foreign countries.
During the exercise, he productively contributed his expertise at briefings and war game conducted by Course Participants.
On 12 June 2025, as customary, Cdr Md. Farid Uz Zaman (TAS) NPP psc BN paid a courtesy call on the Commandant DSCSC, Sri Lanka Major General HHKSS Hewage RWP RSP USP rcds psc.
