A delegation comprised of Student Officers and Directing Staff of Course No 32 of Junior Naval Staff College, Naval & Maritime Academy (NMA), Trincomalee visited DSCSC on 28^th April 2023 as a part of their Industrial Visit.

Junior Naval Staff Course (JNSC) is one of the highest academic and professional training programmes conducted at NMA and is expected to groom professionally competent midcareer officers who can perform assigned staff duties more efficiently. The DSCSC visit is an essential part of the JNSC academic curriculum and it gives Student Officers a better understanding of the DSCSC along with practical perspectives.

The flying visit comprised a presentation covering functions at DSCSC, witnessing Naval Exercise OP EX- ULYSSES and walkthrough of college facilities such as the library, exam hall, syndicate rooms, gymnasium, and accommodations. The visit concluded with an interactive session with faculty members at the Officers’ Mess of DSCSC.
