The Student Officers following DSCSC Course No 16 visited to SLAF Base Katunayake on 25th February 2022. This opportunity considered as a rare opportunity for the Army, Navy and Foreign Student Officers to visit No 02 Squadron, No 05 Squadron, No 10 Squadron, Aeronautical Engineering Wing and the Aircraft Overhaul Wings of this Base. The officers of respective formations conducted a presentation covering capabilities and role of the formation which was highly important. This visit was a fruitful endeavour to all officers since they had an opportunity to acquire first-hand knowledge, to witness the capabilities of transport/ fighter aircraft fleet available in the SLAF inventory and to witness engineering skills of the SLAF.
