Brigadier N.K. Wadugodapitiya RSP psc assumed duties as the seventh Deputy Commandant of the Defence Services Command and Staff College on 08 August 2019. A part from this appointment, he is the Chairmen of Sri Lanka Army Rowing Committee.

Brigadier N.K. Wadugodapitiya RSP psc is a proud product of Royal College – Colombo. He served as the Director, Army Veterans Affairs prior to be appointed as the Deputy Commandant of DSCSC.

After traditional religious rituals the Deputy Commandant took over his duties at his office on 08 August 2019 with participation of all Wing Heads.
