Former Commander of Sri Lanka Air Force and the Governor of Western province Marshal of the Air Force WDRMJ Goonathilake RWP and Bar, VSV, USP, PhD (HON), FIM (SL), ndc, psc was welcomed at the DSCSC on 6^th October 2022.

The Commandant of the DSCSC, Major General BKGML Rodrigo RSP psc IG received the guest lecturer at his office prior to his inspirational lecture on the topic of “Air aspect of COIN operations”, where he shared his experience on the aerial concerns and strategy of Sri Lanka Air Force against LTTE as the Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force during Humanitarian Operations.

Finally, the Commandant presented Marshal of the Air Force WDRMJ Goonathilake a token of appreciation in recognition of his service rendered as a special guest lecturer to the Course No-16.
