Foreign Student Officers and their family members of DSCSC Course No 16 embarked on the Inland Study Tour (IST) from 30 October to 04 November 2022. IST provided an ideal opportunity to explore the areas of Jaffna, Mullaitivu, Anuradhapura and Trincomalee.

The touring party visited Nainativu Island and Fort Hammenhiel during their stay in Jaffna. Further, they visited some tourist attractions in the country such as Mullaitivu beach and religious sites namely Jethawanaramaya, Srimahabodhiya and Ruwanwalisaya in Anuradhapura. They also enjoyed visiting Trincomalee Harbour and were bestowed with a short voyage of Offshore Patrol Vessel (SLNS Sagara) of the Sri Lanka Navy during their stay in Trincomalee.
