The Diners’ Club organized for the Term IV of the DSCSC Course No 16 was held on 10^th November 2022 with the participation of the Commandant, Deputy Commandant, Wing Heads, Directing Staff, Permanent Staff, Student Officers and their spouses at the Officers’ Mess, DSCSC. The guest Speaker was Rear Admiral YN Jayarathne (Retd), RWP & Bar, RSP, USP, ndu, psc, the International Consultant to the UN for Undersea Cables and former Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Navy, former Chief Hydrographer of the Navy and the Joint Chief Hydrographer to the Government of Sri Lanka. The guest speaker enlightened the audience on the subject of “Indian Ocean has become a simmering pot of potential conflict: Can Sri Lanka maintain her neutral stance?,” A brief interactive session was conducted prior to the address and the lengthy Q & A session culminated the key note address.
