One of the veteran war heroes of Sri Lanka Army and former Governor of Northern Province, Major General GA Chandrasiri (Retd) RWP VSV USP ndc psc was welcomed at the DSCSC on 15th November 2022.

The Commandant of the DSCSC, Major General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP psc IG received the guest lecturer at his office prior to his informative lecture on the topic of “Military Aid to Civil Authorities”, where he shared experiences on the role of military in different scenarios, coordination with civil agencies, military role in  5R Concept and handling of IDPs.

Finally, the Commandant presented a token of appreciation to Major General GA Chandrasiri (Retd) RWP VSV USP ndc psc in recognition of his great service rendered as a special guest lecturer to the Course Number -16. The gesture was reciprocated.
