Exercise Ghost Walk is the last Tactical Exercise Without Troops (TEWT) of the course calendar of the DSCSC. The exercise was designed to provide an opportunity for Student Officers to practice in planning and conducting a TEWT at battalion level. During the exercise, Student Officers were given the opportunity to write a TEWT in their own. They were able to test the worthiness of their plans on the ground with the guidance of the Directing Staff.

Student Officers had conducted their initial and final reconnaissance on 05 October 2022 and 04 November 2022 respectively to select a suitable ground to conduct the TEWT. The TEWT was conducted on 18 November 2022 at general area Weliweriya. While conducting the exercise, Student Officers had an opportunity to apply all tactical teaching along with the operational staff techniques learnt during the course on the outdoor environment. The exercise concluded with a de-briefing by the Head of the Training Team of the Army Wing.
