“Icebreaker” conducted at the Officers’ Mess, bestowed an ideal opportunity for the Student Officers and their spouses to get to know one another better, freely intermingle and build up lifelong companionships with the course mates both local and international, the faculty and staff of the college.

The Student Officers of Course No 17 were hosted with a grand welcome banquet (Icebreaker) by the Commandant of the Defence Services Command and Staff College, Major General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP psc IG, the Deputy Commandant, Wing Heads and the Staff of the College on 05 January 2023.

The Course No 17 that commenced on 04 January 2023 consists of a total no of 156 undergraduates that includes 78 officers from the Sri Lanka Army, 26 officers each from the Sri Lanka Navy and Air Force, one officer from Sri Lanka Police and 25 allied officers representing 11 international armed forces.
