One of the veteran war heroes of Sri Lanka Army and the first Chief Instructor of then Army Command and Staff College (presently Defence Services Command and Staff College) Brigadier R M Jayasingha (Retd) USP LOM psc was warmly welcomed at the DSCSC on 05th January 2023.

He shared experiences and conducted a lecture on “Professionalism and the Dignity of the Profession of Arms” for the Student Officers of the course number 17 and their spouses on 05th January 2023.

The lecture enlightened the Student Officers and their spouses regarding the importance of the military professionalism, value and benefits of spending one year as a Student Officer at the Defence Services Command and Staff College. The Commandant, members of the faculty and officers of the permanent staff also attended the lecture.

Finally, Brigadier R M Jayasingha was presented a token of appreciation in recognition of his service rendered as a special guest lecturer to the Course No – 17.
