The visit of Student Officers of Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC) Course No. 17 to Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) Base Katunayake took place on 23^rd February 2023. The visit was a rare opportunity for both local and foreign students since it availed themselves of the opportunity to witness Flying Formations and the Engineering Wings located within the Base, which is the largest, oldest and one of the main Bases of the SLAF. During the visit, the Officers of No 02, No 05, No 10 Squadrons, Aeronautical Engineering Wing and the Aircraft Overhaul Wing conducted the presentations covering capabilities and roles of the Base and the respective formations, followed by a question & answer session. The event also gave students the opportunity to have a close interaction with Officers and the men who have expertise in the respective fields.
