The Model Discussion on Offensive Operations was conducted on 27 February 2023 at DSCSC Eastern Model Room. This Model Discussion has been designed to enhance the students’ knowledge on the fundamentals of Offensive Operations and develop the planning skills focusing on a brigade level Offensive Operations in the context of a divisional setting. The discussion commenced in the morning with the initial briefing of the Sponsor Directing Staff and continued till 1400 hours on 27 February 2023 covering all salient aspects of planning and conduct of the Offensive Operations. The discussion generated healthy debates and constructive arguments during the discussion of different syndicates. It was an ideal forum for most of the Student Officers for sharpening their planning and briefing skills. Foreign Student Officers participated with lots of enthusiasm bringing out their different skills and thoughts on the subject, adding more glamour to the exercise. The discussion was terminated with the summing up by the Chief Instructor of the Army Wing.
