Colonel Rolando P. Gomez, Defence Attaché of The Embassy of Philippines paid an official visit to the DSCSC Sri Lanka on 02 February 2024. On arrival, the Defence Attaché was cordially welcomed by the Commandant Major General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP psc IG at his office.

During the occasion, the cordial discussion centered on possible avenues for developing the relationship between the two nations through military education in the future and emphasized the mutual commitment towards better cooperation and enhancing existing close ties.

Having marked the long-standing and enduring bilateral military relationship between the two nations, an exchange of mementoes to mark his visit took place. Signing of the Visitor’s Book brought the meeting to a culmination.
