The visit of Student Officers from Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC) Course No. 18 to Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) Base Katunayake took place on 22^nd February 2024. This visit presented a rare and valuable opportunity for both local and foreign students, allowing them to observe the Flying Formations and Engineering Wings situated within the Base. As the largest, oldest, and primary Base of the SLAF, it provided an ideal setting for learning about the capabilities and functions of the SLAF.

During the visit, the Officers of No 02, No 05, No 10 Squadrons, Aeronautical Engineering Wing and the Aircraft Overhaul Wing conducted presentations covering capabilities and roles of the Base and the respective formations, followed by Question & Answer sessions.

Moreover, the event facilitated close interactions between the visiting students and the Officers and SLAF staff possessing expertise in their respective fields. This direct engagement provided invaluable opportunities for learning and exchange, enriching the educational experience for all participants.
