Major General D K S K Dolage USP psc concluded his duties as the Commandant of the Defence Services Command and Staff College on 16 December 2024 after completion of six months in the office. The formal military ceremony including a Tri-Services Guard Turnout, a Troop Address, All Ranks Tea, and Farewell Dinner was held at the College to mark the occasion.
In keeping with tradition, outgoing commandant addressed the Faculty Members, Permanent Staff, Other Ranks, and Civil Staff underscoring importance of individual performances extended by all with precision to achieve collaborative effort for overall success. In addition, he extended his gratefulness for their unwavering support and commitments.
As a token of appreciation for his visionary leadership, a memento which is a replica of an owl was presented to the outgoing commandant. The military street line demonstrated best wishes in which extended upon his new appointment as the Commander of Security Force (Central) culminated the tenure at Defence Services Command and Staff College. This event blended with tradition, respect, and reflection highlighted the continued legacy of leadership and excellence of the Defence Services Command and Staff College.
The Chief Instructors of the Army, Navy, and Air Wings, faculty members, permanent staff, Other Ranks, and Civil Staff of the College partook in farewell formalities.
