The Commandant of the Defence Services Command and Staff College, Major General H H K S S Hewage RWP RSP USP rcds psc paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Army Lieutenant General B K G M L Rodrigo RSP ctf-ndu psc IG at the Army Headquarters on 10 January 2025, in a significant gesture of collaboration and mutual respect.
The Commander of the Army warmly welcomed the newly appointed Commandant, DSCSC and extended his compliments on his new appointment. Afterwards, they engrossed in a Productive discussion focusing on key areas of mutual interest, such as enhancing academic programs, fostering research initiatives, and supporting the professional development of military officers. During the conversation, whilst sharing his own experiences as the former Commandant of the College, Commander of the Army assured to extend the fullest support to achieve the desired learning environment in the College.
Formalities of the official visit of the Commandant drew to a close with an exchange of mementoes.
