Rwanda Defence Force Command and Staff College Delegation Visits DSCSC to Strengthen Bilateral Ties
  1. The Defence Services Command and Staff College warmly welcomed a 19-member delegation from the Rwanda Defence Force Command and Staff College (RDFCSC) on 10 February 2025. The delegation was led by Colonel Lausanne Nsengimana Ingabire, the Head of the Academic Department at RDFCSC, and included three Directing Staff members along with Course Participants.

 

  1. The visit commenced with a courtesy call on the Commandant of the DSCSC, Major General H.H.K.S.S. Hewage RWP RSP USP rcds psc. During this meeting, both parties engaged in discussions aimed at strengthening the bond between the two staff colleges. Following the meeting, a group photograph was taken to mark the occasion and the delegation was then provided with an introduction to the DSCSC’s training curriculum, modules, and exercises by Colonel Kelum Maddumage, Head of the Training Team of the Army Wing.

 

  1. The visitors toured key facilities of the college, including the War Gaming Centre and Syndicate Rooms and gaining insights into the academic and practical aspects of DSCSC’s training environment.

 

  1. A luncheon was hosted, providing an opportunity for informal interactions between the RDFCSC delegation and DSCSC faculty and staff. The visit concluded with Colonel Ingabire signing the visitors’ book, marking the end of a fruitful engagement between the two institutions.
