Senior Colonel Zhou Bo, Defence Attaché of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Sri Lanka, paid a courtesy call on Major General Shantha Hewage RWP RSP USP rcds psc, Commandant of the Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC), on 03 July 2025.

The visit served as a platform for a cordial and constructive discussion on avenues to further strengthen the longstanding military cooperation between Sri Lanka and China, particularly in the domain of military education. Both parties exchanged ideas on fostering professional military engagements and academic exchanges, aiming to enhance mutual understanding and capacity-building in future.

To mark the enduring friendship and cooperation between the two nations, the Commandant and the visiting Defence Attaché exchanged mementos, symbolizing the shared commitment to continued defence collaboration.
